Show Notes:
This episode is part one of a four-part summer mini series on educational leadership strategies. In the first episode of the series, I discuss how to “find your why” and create your personal vision for education. I also share my own personal vision for education.
Dan’s Personal Vision for Education
My vision for education is one in which today’s students can grow and excel when educators set high expectations for them and find a variety of ways to inspire and show evidence of student achievement. This is done by personalizing learning, using current research-based instructional best practices, including appropriate technologies, and incorporating student voice and choice in the classroom. Students will excel when they can learn in environments that nurture their personal development of the social, emotional, and intellectual skills and competencies that are unique and special to their stage of childhood.
