About Dr. Sam Fecich

Dr. Sam Fecich is a professor at Grove City College in Pennsylvania. She works with preservice teachers about educational technology and special education. During her courses, preservice teachers learn how to hone their digital presence, unite their professional learning network, create activities with technology tools that engage students in a meaningful and impactful way, apply the Danielson Framework for teaching, and learn the ins and out of special education and how to best serve all students based on their strengths and areas of need.

In 2018, Dr. Fecich published her first book, EduMagic. This book provides preservice teachers (or teachers in training) a voice in the channeling of their own inner edumagic! It challenges the thought that “teaching” begins only after certification and college graduation. It brings to life the exciting news that students in teacher preparation programs have value to offer their future colleagues even as they are learning to become teachers! It gives positive examples, advice from preservice teachers, helpful tools, and plenty of encouragement for preservice teachers to learn, to dream, and to do amazing things in their programs. It will inspire, encourage, and ignite that passion within preservice teachers to show you that YOU have the edumagic within you, but it is up to you let it out!
