In this episode, I spoke with Sean Gaillard (@smgaillard), a middle school principal, about his leadership with spreading positivity among educators and students and the book he is writing called “The Pepper Effect.”
About Sean
Sean Gaillard is currently the principal of Lexington Middle School in North Carolina. Previously, he was the principal at John F. Kennedy High School and Wiley Magnet Middle School, both in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as well as assistant principal at Kernersville Middle School. Gaillard earned a bachelor’s degree in English from The Catholic University of America in Washington. D.C., a master’s degree in teaching from Trinity College, and a master’s degree in school administration from North Carolina A&T University. Sean is also a connected educator who “trends the positive” through two motivating hashtags, #CelebrateMonday and #TrendThePositive. He is an avid music fan and his passion for the Beatles has led him to write his own book called “The Pepper Effect,” set to be published later this year.
